This position provides safe transitional housing designed to strengthen the well-being and development of families and individuals. The Transitional Housing Advocate is also responsible for providing for survivors physical and emotional needs, safety, and maintain the cleanliness of the house while following agency guidelines. The Permanent & Transitional Housing Program has an opening for a Coordinated Community Response Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a social sciences field and have experience in marketing, public speaking, structured group facilitation skills, community coordination of services and supervision. The CCR Specialist will provide education and awareness addressing the issues around domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking in rural communities in Northeast and Central Louisiana. Responsibilities include providing leadership for collaboration and communication among community partners to ensure the safety and support of victims in a coordinated community response.
