The countdown to Christmas has begun! To celebrate this most joyous season, The Wellspring would like to invite our friends and neighbors to join us at our annual Christmas Tree Lighting event Tuesday, November 29 in Winnsboro’s Patriot Square. The festivities begin with a chili cook-off and music at 5:30 p.m.
Unable attend the event? You can still take part. Share the spirit of the season by sponsoring an ornament on The Wellspring’s Christmas tree to honor or remember a loved one. For each sponsored ornament, your name and the name of the person you are honoring or remembered will be placed in The Franklin Sun, and those honored will receive a personal card announcing your gift.
Your gift will mean so much to those you want to honor and remember, because you are helping to provide housing, to buy clothes and food, and to meet other basic needs for families fleeing domestic violence.
