If you are homeless and need help, you have come to the right place. Providing assistance for housing has been a service provided by Wellspring since its beginning in 1931. Today, The Wellspring provides more assistance for housing the homeless in Northeast Louisiana than any other provider. We serve homeless individuals and families with dependent children.

HOW OFTEN IT HAPPENS?

On any given night in Northeast Louisiana, nearly 300 people are on the streets, sleeping in the backseat of a car, in a park or the woods.

The Wellspring offers help to Veterans and their families to avoid homelessness.

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERAN FAMILIES PROGRAM
This program helps eligible veterans and their families get rehoused quickly. Veterans must be homeless or within 14 days of homelessness to receive these services. Veterans must also be from one of the following parishes: Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union and West Carroll. Our team also helps veterans address the issues that led to homelessness by connecting them with the necessary services, including VA benefits.

The Wellspring Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program Offers:
Housing counseling and search assistance
Vocational rehabilitation counseling
Educational assistance
Healthcare services
Referrals for obtaining VA and community benefits
